A Lush Green Entry
This front foundation planting redesign was all about restraint in color + high plant variation for biodiversity. The sparse planting was reenvisioned to be a more organic and welcoming entry experience to the home. Priorities for planting success were establishing year-round interest with texture, evergreens, and seasonal blooms and the more practical consideration of deer hardy plants.
This project is intended to be a lush green welcome home framing the front entry to a rural home on a large lot. The scale of the site and the amount of surrounding lawn sets up a nice contrast to this densely planted font entry that prioritizes native plants.
